Chronicles of one girl's journey to London - from conception to eventual migration.

It was a fantastic holiday season this year. After getting my job in November, I was looking forward to seeing Qas for my birthday, Christmas and New Year's in Toronto.

He arrived December 21, just in time for my birthday and the accompanying party. This year, we went for a zombie theme. To those of us reading this now, it may be a long distant memory but December 21, 2012 was supposed to be the end of the world. I hope I haven't ruined the ending for you by revealing that the world did not end.

Anyway, my zombie party was a small, quiet one with just a few close friends. From there, it was just a countdown to Christmas which came and went with the usual amount of food and presents and napping.

New Year's Eve was even quieter than my birthday with Qas and I ringing in 2013 in the back seat of my parents' car at Yonge-Dundas Square. And, no, it wasn't even as dirty sexy money as it sounds . . . Paul was driving, my mother was in the passenger seat and we were yelling out the windows to the other revelers.

2013 is the year I am supposed to go back to London permanently. At the time of publishing this, it is supposed to happen in August. So, this is the year I am most excited about!
